Work it out yourself

The rules are public. Here they are

Delay Repay runs on two schemes. Most operators start paying at 15 minutes late; LNER, CrossCountry, ScotRail, Lumo, Hull Trains and Caledonian Sleeper start at 30. Both reach a full single fare at an hour.

Pays from 30 minutes late.

Ticket type

The rules say

£15.60

50% of the single fare, which is £31.20 of your £62.40 return.

Claim it yourself on LNER’s Delay Repay page within 28 days. A rejection can go to the Rail Ombudsman.

Or forward the booking and we will draft it for you. Try it.

A return counts as half the booking price per direction. Season tickets and split fares work differently.

Why trust us

A few things we won’t do

Most money-back products take a cut of your refund or plug themselves into your bank. We do neither.

  • Whatever you claim back is yours. Untap is free today, and when we do charge it will be a flat subscription, never a percentage of your refund.

  • You choose what to share, one document at a time. Nothing is read from your inbox unless you send it, and we cannot see your bank account.

  • Extraction is automated, through OpenAI’s commercial API. No human at Untap opens your bookings unless you ask us to help with a tricky appeal.

  • We tell you what is claimable and draft the letter. You read it, decide, and file it yourself.

  • What you share goes through OpenAI under commercial API terms. It is not used for training and it is deleted within 30 days.

Delete everything whenever you like from Your Data. Built in London · Your data is stored in the UK · Encrypted in transit and at rest.

Find out what you’re owed

Forward one confirmation. If there is money behind it, we find it and draft the claim. If there is not, we tell you that too.
