On claude.ai or Claude desktop, use Settings → Connectors to add Untap. Custom connector availability depends on your Claude account.

  4. Sign in only when asked

    Public checks need no Untap account. To save or list claims, connect through Untap’s sign-in page using your existing Google account or email and password.

OpenAI

ChatGPT

Use a custom plugin where your ChatGPT account supports Developer mode. Availability depends on your plan, region and workspace settings. Untap is not yet listed in the plugin directory.

  1. Enable Developer Mode

    In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and enable Developer mode if your account offers it.

  2. Create a custom plugin

    Paste https://untap.money/api/mcp as the MCP server URL at chatgpt.com/plugins. Name it Untap. If setup asks for authentication, choose OAuth so you can save claims later; public checks themselves need no Untap sign-in.

  3. Sign in only when asked

    Public checks need no Untap account. Saving or listing claims opens Untap’s sign-in page. If your account cannot add custom plugins, you can use the same checks on Untap’s website.

The same address works in each. Choose no authentication where you are asked: the train, flight and TfL checks need no Untap account.

Perplexity

  1. Add a custom connector

    Open Settings, then Connectors, then + Custom connector.

  2. Paste the URL

    Name it Untap, paste https://untap.money/api/mcp and choose None for authentication. Save.

  3. Turn it on in a chat

    In a new chat, pick Untap in the sources or connector menu before you ask. A web-only search will not use it.

  1. Open Connectors

    Select + Add Connector, then the Custom MCP Connector tab.

  2. Paste the URL

    Name it untap (no spaces), paste https://untap.money/api/mcp and select Connect. If you are asked how to sign in, choose no authentication.

    Start a new chat and describe the delay. In a team workspace, an admin may need to allow the connector first.

Using a different AI assistant?

Any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol over Streamable HTTP works the same way. Add https://untap.money/api/mcp as a remote server in your client’s settings. The checks work without signing in; the account tools open Untap’s sign-in page.
