uk-travel-claims
Checks UK travel compensation and refunds with Untap: Delay Repay for late or cancelled trains, UK261 or EU261 flight delays, cancellations, denied boarding, TfL incomplete journeys, maximum fares.
For AI agents
A skill is a folder of instructions an AI agent loads when a task needs it. These two teach an agent what to do when you may be owed money for a late or cancelled train, a delayed, cancelled or overbooked flight, or a TfL maximum fare: check it with Untap, confirm the details with you, and claim it on the operator's own form.
They are plain Markdown in the open Agent Skills format, so the same files work in Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and other agents that support skills. Free to use, and the checks they call need no Untap account.
Untap itself never files anything. It works out what you are owed and where to send it.

find-travel-refunds-in-inbox
Searches an inbox for UK train, flight and TfL refunds the person may be owed, then checks them with Untap. Use for find refunds, money I'm owed, check my emails for compensation, travel refunds.
Every file is served as plain Markdown at a fixed address. A machine-readable list is at /skills/index.json.
Install the skills and connect Untap's server, so the agent has both the instructions and the checks. The server address and setup for each assistant are on the connect page. Steps checked against each platform's documentation on 4 October 2026.
Anthropic's guide: Use skills in Claude.
Unzip into your personal skills folder, or into .claude/skills inside a project.
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills && cd ~/.claude/skills
curl -sSLO https://untap.money/skills/uk-travel-claims.zip && unzip -o uk-travel-claims.zip
curl -sSLO https://untap.money/skills/find-travel-refunds-in-inbox.zip && unzip -o find-travel-refunds-in-inbox.zipCodex and the ChatGPT desktop app read skills from ~/.agents/skills, or from .agents/skills in a project. Unzip both there, the same way as above. On ChatGPT on the web and on mobile, skills arrive inside plugins rather than as separate uploads. Workspace admins can publish them to a workspace.
OpenAI's guide: Agent Skills in Codex.
Perplexity's Agent API accepts skills in the same format through its skills endpoint. Where your Perplexity app shows a Skills page, upload the zip there.
Perplexity's guide: Skills in the Agent API.
Cursor, Copilot, VS Code and Gemini CLI read .agents/skills in a project and ~/.agents/skills for your own skills. Grok Build reads ~/.agents/skills and .grok/skills. Unzip both folders into one of those.
Some assistants, such as Meta's, only offer built-in skills. You can still connect Untap's server where the assistant allows it, or paste the raw SKILL.md into its custom instructions. Agents that cannot use the server can call the same checks over plain HTTPS, described in the REST reference.
The thresholds, deadlines and claim forms in these skills are the ones Untap's checks apply, and the same rules are published as open data. Where a figure depends on the operator, the ticket or the flight, the skills tell the agent to ask Untap rather than repeat a number. Each reference file lists its official sources: the operators' own pages, the Office of Rail and Road, the Civil Aviation Authority, Transport for London and the dispute bodies.
